You are our GREATEST Adventure | Lifestyle Newborn Photography

This new little guy is ready to explore! His parents have been waiting very patiently for this rainbow baby’s arrival. Welcome to the forest Talon! He was alert and calm throughout his 12 day old in-home photo shoot. He only slept for a short few minutes and definitely wanted to wiggle his arms & fingers out of the swaddle blanket and move his eyes around trying to figure out what was going on in his darling woodland decor nursery. His mom and dad are super creative and built the rustic reclaimed wood mountain peaks wall decor themselves. A totally amazing and cozy space! What a loved and cherished bear cub Talon is! A pleasure to snap some photos of him to document this fleeting first week-ish of his life.

Concert Photography | Cherry Creek Arts Festival Photographer

“Take me to another place, take me to another land
Make me forget all that hurts me, let me understand your plan” -Arrested Development

Honored to have been a part of the volunteer photography committee at this year’s Cherry Creek Arts Festival’s Concert for Arts Education, featuring the Grammy Award winning, hip-hop, socially conscious, band Arrested Development. I had an awesome time capturing the band members and listening to their amazing live performance while also benefiting the students in our Denver community with future Cherry Arts art education exhibits, demonstrations, classes and interactive art! Fantastic, giant, inflatable sculptures stage backdrop art was created by artist Nicole Banowetz. Grateful for opportunities to shoot concert photography and look forward to doing more!

la floraison | pink flowers on the corner | denver photographer

Claude Monet — 'I must have flowers, always, and always.'
I stumbled upon this beautiful bunch of pink flowers on the corner near the Walgreens drug store I go to. I drove past them a few times, on multiple days, and then finally decided I simply had to have some photos of them. Flowers are just a special, symbolic, lovely thing to photograph.
Be it happy or sad moments, flowers seem to brighten the energy that surrounds us.

Spread KINDNESS around like CONFETTI | Urban Creative Portrait Shoot | Denver RiNo District Photographer

Confetti & hot pink 💕👠 heels?! Um, yes, please! (I get giddy when clients bring a splash of color or a prop that helps highlight their style).
Thrilled to have photographed this lovely, inspirational and gorgeously photogenic gal. Simply a smashingly fun and colorful session. Many of you have already been following her (she has a huge social media following @lindsayteague ), but if you’re like me, you’re just getting a glimpse into this fantastic influencer and I’m sure you’ll be diving in to learn more. Meet Lindsay Teague Moreno, entrepreneur, speaker, podcaster, boss mama, mentor, author and more! She has this new book “Boss Up!: This Ain’t Your Mama’s Business Book” available for pre-order NOW, and I am super excited to snag it soon to read up on tips to stir more success with my own small woman owned business journey. What a joy to meet this energetic woman who has a passion for helping others grow.

I love and adore the ever exciting art culture, vibrant textures and evolving backdrop of Downtown Denver’s RiNo Art District, which made for the perfect, playful partner to Lindsay’s creativity and style during our shoot. I’ve shot a handful of clients in and around the murals and neighborhood of RiNo and Five Points Denver, and being a Denver native helps with knowing the area, but finding new spots to shoot around and locating them can be a bit of a mystery & game, so I was grateful for this detailed resource, Colbert, Carrie (2018, November 26) Your Guide to Denver’s Most Colorful Walls Retrieved from https://carriecolbert.com/ 17 April 2019, which made my hunt for finding specific photo backdrops in the area a breeze. Her post, that I found via Google surfing the web, will treat you with shining example images + street addresses to map out some fabulous murals in this artsy area.

It was an honor to meet and photograph you Lindsay. Thanks for a most jubliant photo session that will have me smiling and inspired for a long time!
